Welcome to Merlin Routes Private Limited (“we,” “our,” “us”). By booking a tour package or using our services through www.merlinroutes.com, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making any booking.


1. Booking & Confirmation

  • All bookings are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.
  • A booking will be considered confirmed only upon receipt of the advance payment as per the payment policy.
  • Guest details, including names, contact numbers, and travel dates, must be provided accurately during booking.

2. Payment Policy

  • 25% of the total package cost is required for hotel confirmation.
  • Another 25% of the package cost must be paid on or before 30 days prior to the travel date.
  • Remaining 50% must be settled at the time of check-in on Day 1 of the trip.
  • All payments must be made via bank transfer or other approved methods shared by Merlin Routes.
  • Bookings may be released automatically if payment deadlines are not met.

3. Cancellation Policy

  • 75% of the package amount will be charged if cancelled 8 to 15 days before the tour start date.
  • 50% of the package amount will be charged if cancelled 16 to 20 days before the tour start date.
  • 25% of the package amount will be charged if cancelled 21 to 29 days before the tour start date.
  • Full refund will be provided if booking is cancelled at least 30 days before the tour start date, after deducting ₹1,000 as convenience fee and applicable GST.
  • No refund will be provided if booking is cancelled less than 7 days before the tour start date.
  • All cancellation requests must be sent via email to info@merlinroutes.com.

4. Refund Policy

  • Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 7–10 working days after deduction of cancellation or convenience charges.
  • Refunds will be made only to the original source of payment.

5. Changes & Amendments

  • Date changes or modifications to bookings are subject to availability and may attract additional charges.
  • Merlin Routes reserves the right to alter the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather conditions, strikes, or safety reasons) without prior notice.

6. Responsibilities of the Guest

  • Guests must carry valid government-issued photo ID proof during travel.
  • Any damage to hotel property, vehicles, or equipment will be the guest’s responsibility.
  • Guests must adhere to local rules, cultural norms, and safety guidelines throughout the trip.

7. Travel Documents & Health

  • It is the guest’s responsibility to ensure they possess valid travel documents (tickets, ID proof, permits if required).
  • Guests should disclose any medical conditions that may affect travel. Merlin Routes will not be liable for any health-related issues during the tour.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • Merlin Routes acts only as a booking intermediary for hotels, transport operators, and other service providers.
  • We are not liable for any delay, loss, injury, damage, or expense caused by third-party services or unavoidable circumstances beyond our control.

9. Force Majeure

Merlin Routes shall not be held responsible for failure or delay in performance due to events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, political unrest, or transport disruptions.


10. Jurisdiction

All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Thrissur, Kerala (India) courts only.
